Curves Ahead Tour
In the summer of 2017, our family of four went on a 40-day, 15-city, cross-country road trip and lettering workshop tour. I coordinated with partners in each city to secure venues and on-the-ground promotion help to fill each workshop.
I also designed and sold band-tour-style posters and t-shirts, the proceeds of which were awarded as a “scholarship” to one of the hundreds of attendees, toward their tuition in pursuing an education and career in the letter-based arts.
Samsung #Imagelogger Campaign
I was one of just 50 photographers in the US invited to be in Samsung’s Imagelogger/Ditch the DSLR campaign. We shot and edited photos monthly for Samsung ad campaigns, using and providing feedback on all its equipment, during the company’s several-year foray into the high-end mirrorless camera market.
Jameson’s Spirit of the Neighborhood Campaign
For the two years of Jameson's "Spirit of the Neighborhood" campaign, I was one of a small handful of Brand Ambassadors in the Austin, TX market. I managed a monthly budget for purchasing product and gifting, and planned & organized several events and parties each year.
The Shammetry Project
Like symmetry, but…a sham. Seeing scenes for the more perfect, symmetrical worlds they could be, through the lens of my camera.
Real Man Shit
In 2016, in a time when the loudest voices and foremost leaders seemed so determined to reinforce outdated, virile standards of manhood, I planned my first solo art show, titled Real Man Shit. The intention was to spark conversation about what we value in our men and what we should really be looking for in our influences and role models.
I hand-painted custom lettering on giant cut-out mustaches, with eight different values of real men. We had an opening party, with custom cocktails and an El Chilito taco buffet sponsored by Jameson Whiskey, and all proceeds from sales of show posters going to their team Movember fund.
State Bicycle Co.
Using a mix of the brand’s product photography and my own, and copy written and hand-lettered by me, I created a new weekly social post to be used across the company’s social accounts for its “Motivation Monday” campaign, over the course of about four months.
